The students, upon the successful completion of this course, will develop their knowledge about nanoscience and nanotechnology.
The students will learn uses nanoscience and nanotechnology, and nanotechnology products.
The students will learn nanotechnological application in nature.
Students will learn various physical, chemical and biological properties of nanostructured materials.
Students will learn using instruments about characterization of nanomeaterials.
Students will learn application of nanotechnology in medicine, in industry, electronical devices, defence industry, environmental,agricaltural and far

1. Week  Introduction to nanoscience and nanotechnology
2. Week  The history and development of nanoscienceand technology
3. Week  The current uses of nanoscience and nanotechnology and its uses in the future, nanoengineering.
4. Week  Synthesis and classification of nanocomposites
5. Week  Applications, synthesis and charecterization of nanomaterials
6. Week  Properties of nanocomposites and their characterizations
7. Week  Applicaiton of nanotechnolgy and nanorobotics in medicine and defence industry
8. Week  Midterm exam
9. Week  Nanobiotechnologic developments, application of nanotechnology in environmental sciences, farming and agricultural sciences.
10. Week  Nanobiotechnology: Biomaterials, Preparation and uses of biomaterials
11. Week  Tissue Engineering, Scaffolds and wound dressing materials. Laboratuar application.
12. Week  Carbon nanotubes and determining their structures. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and student application in the nanotechnology laboratory using AFM.
13. Week  Other instruments used in the characterization of nanostructures and lab applications (TEM, SEM and X-ray etc).
