1. Week  Turkish literature in pre-Islam period; discussing of Turkish legends.
2. Week  Studies on Gokturk monuments and other old written texts.
3. Week  Admission of Islam and early books; Kutadgu Bilig and the others.
4. Week  Ahmet Yesevi, religious thought in Turkish literature, sufism and philosophy of life in sufism.
5. Week  Creation of Turkish literature in Anatolia until 15. Century and Divan Literature.
6. Week  Turkish literature in 16. Century; Fuzulî, Bakî, folk literature.
7. Week  Turkish literature in 17.- 18. Century, folk poets.
8. Week  Social and cultural changes in 19. Century; changing society and individual.
9. Week  Midterm exam
10. Week  Changes in Turkish literature 19. Century; Western effects, becoming simple in Turkish, new literary genres.
11. Week  Thought movements in Ottoman society in 19. Century and the effects to literature.
12. Week  National Turkish literature period and results of this period.
13. Week  Mehmet Akif, Ahmet Haşim, Yahya Kemal and effects of them to next generation.
14. Week  Turkish Republic period, new state, new society and new literature.
