Define knowledge, kinds of knowledge and the nature of science.
Recognizes the philosophical movements that affect science and compares its properties.
Explain epistemology, ontology, sociology and anthropology of science, ethics of science.
Question individual epistemological and scientific beliefs, reasons of beliefs.
Use scientific process skills in solving problems.
Identify and compare information types.
Develops suggestions about teaching activities to use scientific thinking and scientific inquiry features in teaching life and to gain to students.
Recognize the scientists who have worked in the field of biology in the history of science.
Discuss the basic elements of the nature of science through current scientific developments.
Discuss the biology curriculum by considering the nature of science.

1Explain the concepts, symbols, formulas, theories, models, principles and generalizations in biology and analyse the biological incidents in the light of generalizations and mechanism and correlate the biological concepts.X
