Preservice teachers should know the learning outcomes related to the subjects in the mathematics curriculum and be able to discuss teaching these subjects in a meaningful way.
Preservice teachers should have information about how mathematical understanding and mathematical thinking have developed within the scope of the theories that stand out in the mathematics education field.
Preservice teachers should know mathematical process standards.
