 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week  The aim of the Ataturk Principles and Revolution History, the main issues of the History of Turkish Revolution.
2. Week  The decline of the Ottoman Empire (internal and external factors).
3. Week  Ottoman Empire on 19th Century, Reforms of Sultan Selim III, Sultan Mahmud II, The periods of reforms Tanzimat, Islahat, Mesrutiyet I and Mesrutiyet
4. Week  Though systems on decline period of Ottoman Empire-Panislamizm,Ottomanism, Turkish Natioalism).
5. Week   Economic and military progress of Ottoman Empire before World War I ( setting up İttihat Terakki, Trablusgarp and the Balkan Wars).
6. Week   World War I, The Decline of Ottoman Empire, partition plans on Empire during the World War I.
7. Week  The situation of Ottoman Empire after Mondros Armistice, activities of minorities, destuructive communities. MIDTERM EXAM
8. Week   Cabinets of Ottoman Empire after Mondros Armistice and national communities.
9. Week   Occupation of İzmir and the resisdance to occupaiton, the beginning of the new period and Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
10. Week  The activities in Anatolia against occupation.
11. Week   Main issues (inner and temporal) of National warfare, establishment of national assembly and their activities.
12. Week  Military and politic progress after National Assembly, inner rebellions
13. Week  Peace Summit in Paris, Conference of London, Conference of San remo, The Treaty of Sèvres, and the new projects of allied Powers after Mondros Armist
14. Week  Front lines in National Struggle, the battles and agreements.
