Enhance the study methods of piano of the student.
Enhance the decipher skills of piano of the student.
Enhance the ability of students to play legato and staccato. Enable the students to gain the ability to play portato & non-legato
To gain the ability of students to make studies in order to develop applying techniques in etudes and pieces
Enable the students to have ability to make studies for enhancement in the application of musical constituents in etudes and pieces.
To enhance the ability of students to play maqam scales in opposite and parallel directions as well as the cadences and to use two hands in coordinati

Gain the ability of students to play different styles

Gain the ability of students to play in the exams and concerts in order to get stress management
 -- MODE OF DELIVERY
  This course is intended to be given vis-à-vis and person to person
 -- PREREQUISITES AND CO-REQUISITES
  No physical handicap that may prevent playing the piano
 -- RECOMMENDED OPTIONAL PROGRAMME COMPONENTS
  The co-requisites for this course are Musical Hearing Reading and Writing Course, Harmony Course, Musical Forms Course, Musical Analysis Course and the courses about History of Classical Turkish and World Music and the courses about Introduction of Human Anatomy for make conscious applications on relaxing muscles.
 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week  Assess the achievement of the target behaviors in the previous term together with the student Inform the student about the target behaviors in the cu
2. Week  Introduce portato & non-legato technique. Fingering exercises. Decipher an appropriate level etude
3. Week  Analyze form and harmony on small-scale pieces; make practices on musical expressions (loudness, tempo, accent, expressions, musical articulations etc
4. Week  Scale and cadence works on new tones and maqams
5. Week  Decipher an appropriate level Baroque Era piece
6. Week  Continue to study on Baroque Era piece and the etude.
7. Week  Decipher a new etude and revive the previous works.
8. Week  Midterm exam (minimum one etude and one piece)
9. Week  Continue to study parallel scale exercises and cadence works and decipher an appropriate level Classical Era piece.
10. Week  Continue to study Classical Era piece and decipher an appropriate level Romantic Era piece.
11. Week  Reinforce the etudes and pieces
12. Week  Decipher an appropriate level Modern Era piece
13. Week  Decipher an appropriate level piece by Turkish composers
14. Week  Continue to study on Classical piece and Turkish composer’s piece
15. Week  Assign and study the final exam program
16. Week  Final exam (The final exam program must include one etude and four piece and four octave scale and the cadence)
