Preservice teachers should know the sub-learning areas and learning outcomes of algebra.
Preservice teachers should know the possible misconceptions and learning difficulties that students will have about algebra subjects.
Preservice teachers should be able to design lesson activities that will enable students to make meaningful operations with algebraic expressions.
