Be able to understand definition of function andthe fundamental function.
Ability to combine functions to make new functions.
Ability to comment on continuity, limit of functions at given points.
To understand the concept of derivative.
To be able to use some applications of derivatives.
To set up max/min problems, to use differentiation to solve them.
To learn to find extreme values of functions.
Ability to sketch the graph of a function by using asymptotes, critical points the derivative test for increasing/decreasingconcavity properties.

8. Week  Midterm Exam.
9. Week  Limits at infinity and infinite limits
10. Week  Definition of derivative and Differentiation rules
11. Week  Higher-Order Derivatives, implicit differentiationderivative of the parametric functions.
12. Week  The geometrical meaning further applications of derivative.
13. Week  Rolle Theorem, Mean Value Theorem etc,
14. Week  Convex functions.
15. Week  Sketch the graph of a function.
16. Week  Final Exam.
