 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week  Development of immune response,mechanisms of cellular immune response
2. Week  Isolation of immune cells from whole blood and tissues, peripheral blood smear and staining, viability tests
3. Week  Cell culture techniques,cell freezing and thawing, hybridoma techniques
4. Week  Tests for immune cell proliferation and cytotoxicity
5. Week  Flowcytometry, FACS, in vivo and in vitro imaging of immune cells (2D, 3D, 4D)
6. Week  İntracellular measurement of cytokines and signalling, ELISPOT, Multiplex/Luminex devices
7. Week  Examination (Midterm)
8. Week  HLA typing/ immune lymphocyte typing methods
9. Week  Measurement of numbers and functions of new T hepler subgroups (Th17, Th23, Treg, etc.)
10. Week  Mechanisms of autoimmunity anf autoinflmmation, laboratory test used to diagnose and monitor (floow-up) such diseases
11. Week  Laboratory tests used to diagnose and monitor (floow-up) cellular immunodeficiencies
12. Week  HIV tests and their mechanisms
13. Week  Helicobacter pylori ve Mycobacterium tuberculosis tests
