The Department of Turkish Language Teaching was established in Gazi University Gazi Educational Faculty Turkish Language and Literature Education Department in 1992-1993 by YÖK''''s EÖ/07.02.003/1752-11714 numbered and dated 1.6.1989 decision. This is the first Turkish Education undergraduate program in Turkey. The aim of the department is to educate students as efficient teachers who are qualified with the scientific point of view, the intellectual inquisitiveness, and the efficiency of Turkish.
